Radical Responsibility | Attunement | Receptivity

Mastering the three essential qualities for effective feminine leadership can help support every area of your life.

Sign up for Hi, I’m Jennifer Dorothy and I’ve created Friendship Works, a monthly membership for women who want to experience a deeper connection with themselves and others by practicing the skill of friendship.

I’m accepting applications for an intimate circle of women that will begin diving into the gentle, but beautiful process of building friendship. Let’s see which access point is right for you.

Here’s the Weird Thing

I’m not expecting you to become friends with anyone in Friendship Works! It’s an experiment and practice to see what happens when we practice the skills that build friendship. You can practice these skills with old friends outside of our community and report back on what did or didn’t work.

Here’s What I Know

  • You want real connection, but end up scrolling away on your phone.

  • You’re isolated at home as an empty nester or buried under the needs of a baby or toddler (or literally buried under piles of laundry, mom guilt, dishes, and diapers.)

  • You wonder if there’s an end to the hard things you do in a day, things that you don’t want to do, things that just suck, things that are repetitive, mind-numbing, infuriating, and physically exhausting.

  • You struggle to find the words to talk to your teen or your partner without conflict.

  • You feel anxiety, resentment, depression, or withdrawal building.

  • I only know all of this because it used to be me before I worked with a mentor that helped me connect with my beloved friends.

Here’s What You’ll be Building

  • Worthiness: Lean on others for day-to-day support without feeling guilty, just because you deserve it.

  • Deep Friendship: Especially after years of isolation, you desire relationships that are void of the competition, gossip, or backstabbing that’s hurt so many of us.

  • Confidence in Intimacy: Ask for what you need, stop people-pleasing, and communicate effectively with tools that bring you closer to your loved ones, even when you’re triggered.

  • Reaching vs. Isolating: Learn to share, when you’re ready, within a safe protected space—without anyone trying to fix it or problem-solve.

  • Repair With Your Kids and Partner: Know that you can always make an effort to take responsibility for when it’s you and not them so that you can heal old hurts and wounds that you inflicted.

Here’s How it Works

The easiest way to join Friendship Works is to join the online circle for $47 per month and load Telegram (an app) on your device. Messages based on the monthly theme will be delivered directly to you, including:

  • Sample discussion points and educational content- What is “radical responsibility?”, Non-violent communication exercises, triangulation awareness, how to speak from your heart, etc.

  • Seasonal writing prompts - What leaves are you shedding in the fall? What loss are you experiencing right now? What “winter” are you in? What are you needing to heal and hibernate from? What areas of your life are springing forth with new growth? What part of your life feels like “summer”—endlessly productive and positive?

  • Optional ability to share messages and thoughts with the entire group or just one other person

  • Zoom meeting updates and recordings

  • Announcements about in-person events

I look forward to connecting with you!

As a full-time stay-at-home mother looking after 2 spirited boys, I barely have any time to myself. Despite being around them 24/7, it can also be an incredibly isolating experience. Jenn creates a safe and comfortable space for us mothers/women to self-reflect and share our vulnerabilities, and to realize we’re not alone in this journey.
